Turks and Caicos Islands welcoming the World

December 2017 and we are excited for our upcoming season.

Another year has passed  and Turks and Caicos Islands recorded the highest growth from the European market within the Caribbean regions. Arrivals from Europe  improved 27.7% year-over-year, the strongest growth among the Caribbean's  major markets. Guests arrived from Italy, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Switzerland -to name a few countries.  Stopover arrivals from the U.K. ( England, Ireland and Scotland) grew by 40.5 % year over year.

The United States remains the leading source of visitors representing 81.7% of all stop-over arrivals. In part this is due to accessibility, frequency of flights from most major cities in the United States and the fact that TCI is U.S. dollar based.

Turks and Caicos Islands is emerging as one of the fastest-growing markets in the Caribbean for Canadian investors and second home buyers. The attraction is also accessibility with daily direct flights from major  Canadian cities on Canadian airlines - both Air Canada and West Jet.  Canadian winters are harsh so the draw to 320 days of sunshine that Turks and Caicos enjoys is a definite plus to Canadians. Miles and miles of sandy beach, beautiful turquoise waters, low density  and safe environment attract many to our shores.

South America is also an upcoming market for TCI and although there are no direct flights as yet, plans are in the works to welcome airlines from South America and other destinations worldwide.

Turks and Caicos  welcomes investment . While other countries in the Caribbean have strict rules for foreign transactions, Turks and Caicos have many advantages. There is no income tax, property tax, or capital gain tax on any properties. Freehold title, meaning that there can be no interference with ownership by Government. The are no onerous landlord legislation. Many properties are purchased for rental income as well as enjoyment by owners.

Turks and Caicos infrastructure of roads, power, reverse osmosis water treatment as well as stringent building codes make TCI a attractive location for second home buyers or investment opportunities
